I welcome your interest in developing your career at Grey High School. We have a very special school characterised by aspiration, mutual respect and care for each individual.

Founded in 1856 by Sir George Grey, it has a long and distinguished history.

During the past five years, the School has increased its numbers to over 900 boys. There are approximately 180 students in each of the Grades. Prospective students come from local primary schools, with the Junior School contributing the most students.

The School aims to provide a stimulating and friendly atmosphere in which each student can realise his intellectual, physical and creative potential. Students are encouraged to be self-reliant and adaptable, and we intend that they will learn the core values of honesty, fairness and service. The curriculum provides a balanced blend of academic, sporting and cultural activities which combine to meet these objectives, which is entrenched in our motto: Tria Juncta in Uno.

Expectations of staff are high, as one would expect of a traditional boys’ school steeped in history.
Extramural commitment is demanded, be it in the classroom, culturally or on the sports fields. We have built up an enviable reputation as a leader in these fields, and the magnificent campus is testimony to our sporting achievements.

Classrooms have been refurbished to stay at the forefront of technology, and teachers and students alike have access to modern teaching equipment.
