• To explore religion, as well as the different religions of the world, and how it affects the life of humankind.
• To describe the phenomenology of religion.
• To describe the concepts of the main religions in South Africa.
• To enhance the knowledge of religions for education in the field of Religion Studies focusing on teaching this discipline.
