Chiropractic is a health care discipline that emphasises the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practise of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. Our department offers a four-year Bachelors of Health Sciences Chiropractic application open on the 1st of April every year. Applicants are required to attend an interview as a component of the selection process. Successful applicants are required to complete the Master of Health Sciences in Chiropractic to comply with the minimum registration requirements of the AHPCSA. |
