The Faculty of Science welcomes all postgraduate students in 2023-2024, and we wish you well in your postgraduate studies and research.
Instructions on how to register for the different postgraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Science are given below. Links are provided for you to access the documents that you need to register.
The deadline for postgraduate registration is 7th February 2023-2024
International Students (excluding Postdoctoral Fellows)
Please report to the International Academic Programmes Office (IAPO), in the Masingene Student Administration Building, Middle Campus. For further information, please refer to http://www.iapo.uct.ac.za/iapo/intstud/orientationpre-reg or email: int-iapo@uct.ac.za). You must produce a valid study permit, medical insurance certificate and proof of payment of fees in order to obtain clearance before registering at the Faculty Office.
Late Registration
A late registration penalty of R2000 will apply.
Students with Outstanding Fees
You will NOT be allowed to register until your fee account has been settled. Please make the required payment at the Fees Office prior to registering at the Faculty.
