STADIO Holdings acquired the following six private higher education institutions (PHEVs): AFDA, Embury Institute for Higher Education, LISOF, Milpark Education, Prestige Academy and Southern Business School.

STADIO has consolidated SBS, Embury, LISOF and Prestige Academy to form a single registered private higher education institution which is known as STADIO (Pty) Ltd, consisting of the following five faculties:

DEBTORS CLERK (CENTURION CAMPUS)

STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Debtors Clerk at our Centurion Campus.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Communication with customers (students, corporate clients) and other stakeholders within the organisation
  • Capturing and verification of accounts receivable
  • Preparation and processing of invoices and student Statements
  • Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger
  • Debt collection from overdue customers (students, third party institutions) including directly contacting customers with outstanding accounts and maintenance of all correspondence
  • Report to the financial accountant
  • Provide any other financial support to the financial accountant to meet the requirements of the campus
  • Generate relevant reports on accounts receivable and overdue accounts for review by management

 

Minimum Requirements | Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
  • 3-4 years working experience as a debtor’s clerk, inclusive of debt collection
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
  • Experience in operating spreadsheets and use of accounting software

IT INFRASTRUCTURE, SECURITY AND SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (DURBANVILLE, CAPE TOWN)

STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of IT Infrastructure, Security and Solutions Architect at our Head Office in Durbanville, Cape Town.

 

Purpose

The purpose of the position is to:

  • Plan, design, implement and maintain server configurations, routing protocols, network configurations and storage environments
  • Backup servers and monitor network use statistics
  • Implement contingency plans to minimise network and system downtime

 

More specifically the successful incumbent will be expected to:

  • Participate in identifying and scoping infrastructure requirements of IT projects
  • Ensure optimal design and architecture of hardware and software infrastructure
  • Operationally manage existing infrastructure
  • Manage data storage and backup procedures
  • Maintain network and data security across infrastructure solutions

 

Qualifications and experience required:

  • An Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in Information Technology, Computer Science and/or Information Systems
  • Microsoft Azure certification
  • Microsoft Azure planning, implementation, and management experience
  • FortiGate SD-WAN knowledge, planning, implementation, and management experience
  • Attendance at other relevant short courses
  • 10+ years experience with enterprise architecture

 

Knowledge required:

  • Extensive knowledge of Azure is essential
  • Excellent understanding of firewalls (Fortinet)
  • Excellent understanding of ITIL principles
  • Excellent knowledge of cyber security and related risk mitigation

SCHOOL OF EDUCATION: CONTRACT ASSESSORS (MUSGRAVE, WATERFALL & CENTURION CAMPUSES)

STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of Contract Assessors on our Musgrave, Waterfall and Centurion Campuses.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Online marking of assessment tasks according to relevant STADIO policies and module marking guides and rubrics
  • Provide detailed feedback to students on the assessment task
  • Ensure marking consistency, standardisation and high-quality assessment practices
  • Attend online marking training.
  • Attend all assessors’ compulsory marking/memorandum meetings within a week of the assessment date
  • Review relevant material (Study Letter, Assessment Guides, Prescribed texts, etc.) before the meeting
  • Complete the marking of the allocated assessment tasks within 2 weeks

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years’ prior experience in higher education and/or a professional body of marking and setting or evaluating assessments pertinent to the relevant programme and module
  • Relevant teaching or practitioner/consultancy experience (for the relevant subject matter and/or field of education)
  • Current lecturing/teaching post or engaged in consultancy/practice or  have very recently retired from the field of education
  • A computer and internet access to complete marking online
  • Computer literate and able to work with all Microsoft Office tools
  • Willing/able to work online using different learning management systems portals (e.g. Moodle and Canvas)
  • Have reliable internet access for communication with MCs, timely completion of work and submission of claims
  • Demonstration of being up to date in relevant educational and subject issues, and assessment methodology
