COURSE OVERVIEW
The Educare qualification is designed for learners who enjoy working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. This qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge to facilitate the all-around development of children in a culture-sensitive environment. Key components of the course include Daycare Personnel Development, Child Health, Educare Didactics, Educational Psychology, Daycare Management, Daycare Communication and Entrepreneurship and Business Management. Entrance Requirements

National Senior Certificate/Grade 12

Level 4 Certificate/ABET Level 4 certificate
Certification
Learners will receive the following at each level:

National Certificate N4, N5, N6
-
National N Diploma in Educare on completion of N4-N6 and 18-months’ of in-service training.
The National N Diploma includes four (4) years of theory and 18-months of in-service training.
All examinations are set and administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The National N Diploma is issued by the DHET.

The costs of study materials and access to the online portal for course schedules, exam dates, results etc. are included in the tuition fee. Simply enquire with your sales consultant.
Extra Classes
You may attend Saturday classes for extra support. All support classes are free.
